Independent by choice. Repairing Ireland's devices from Dublin since 2007.
Two part tiers. Your choice, up front.
Genuine manufacturer part
The manufacturer's own part, used where supply allows. We are an independent repair specialist by choice, not an authorised service, and we never suggest otherwise.
Premium quality part
High-quality replacements selected and tested by ExpressTech. Lower cost, and we tell you plainly what differs.
Both tiers carry the same 12-month warranty on parts and workmanship. Where only one is available, we say so and why. No manufacturer logo is ever used to make a part look more genuine than the evidence supports.
Repair for organisations.
VAT invoices standard. PO acceptance for business, schools and public sector. No minimum device count.Visit us, or talk to us.

Are you authorised by Apple, Samsung or Microsoft?
No — and that is deliberate. ExpressTech is an independent repair specialist by choice, for every brand we repair: the confidence of an authorised provider, with the flexibility, speed and personal service of an independent specialist. We never claim manufacturer authorisation or partnership.
What does independent repair actually mean?
Independent means we are not bound by manufacturer rules about which devices we can repair, which parts we use, or how long the queue should be. We use that independence to repair more devices, faster, including older models and complex faults that authorised service may not take on.
Do you use genuine parts?
We use the right quality part for the device and repair, and explain the options before any work begins. iPhone screens are Soft OLED — the iPhone screen standard — with one clear price per model. On iPhone batteries you choose between two battery qualities, both prices shown up front, with Genuine Apple available where supply allows. On Samsung screens, where we can prove the genuine display for your exact model we say Genuine Samsung, and where we cannot, we say exactly what we are fitting.
Will my data be safe during the repair?
We do not access your personal data during standard hardware repairs, and your data is never accessed, transferred or erased unless you explicitly ask us to carry out a data-related service. We recommend keeping a backup as a general precaution before any repair.
What warranty do I get?
A 12-month warranty on parts and workmanship, for walk-in and courier repairs alike. It covers faulty parts and workmanship, but not new accidental damage, misuse or unrelated faults after the repair. Liquid-damage repairs are the one exception — corrosion can continue after treatment, so they are excluded from the 12-month warranty, and we tell you that before you decide.
Can you repair things authorised service will not take on?
Often, yes. Logic board faults, liquid damage recovery, charging issues, older devices and complex multi-issue diagnostics are part of our repair-first approach. Assessment is free where the fault is clear; complex faults, including liquid damage and no-power, carry a €30 diagnostic fee, credited in full toward the repair cost if you go ahead. No work proceeds without your approval.
Do I need to book or can I walk in?
No appointment is needed for most walk-in repairs. Drop into our Dublin 2 centre at 110 Baggot Street Lower during opening hours, or prepay online before visiting. Most iPhone screen and battery repairs are completed in 60 minutes; other repair times vary by device.
What if I am not in Dublin? Can I send my device?
Yes. Book Collection & Return online: €30 flat per shipment, round trip, tracked and insured, 3–4 working days door to door. Your device is repaired at our Dublin 2 workshop and returned to your address. You can also post your device to us yourself with any postal or courier service you prefer.
How long does a MacBook screen or battery repair take?
Typical turnaround: Same day for most models, subject to part availability. That applies to MacBook screen and battery repairs alike. If a part is not on the shelf, common parts are usually sourced within 24 hours, and every completed repair carries the 12-month warranty on parts and workmanship.
Do you repair iPads?
Yes — iPad Pro, Air, standard and mini. Screens and batteries are the most common iPad repairs, usually completed the same day, with the exact price shown on each repair page before you book. Every completed repair carries the 12-month warranty on parts and workmanship.
We use our Apple devices for work and school — can you take several at once?
Yes. Schools, businesses and public-sector teams get VAT invoices as standard, purchase-order acceptance, asset-tag tracking and per-device repair reports, with no minimum device count. One courier shipment is €30 flat, round trip, however many devices are in it, and no additional paid work is carried out without approval. NDAs and data agreements are available on request.
