Diagnostics

How our diagnostics work

Assessment is free where the fault is clear. Complex faults carry a €30 diagnostic fee, and if you go ahead with the quoted repair, that €30 is credited in full toward the cost.

Clear faults are assessed free. Complex faults are worth a proper look.

A cracked screen or a worn battery does not need an investigation. A device that will not power on, or that behaves intermittently, does. The €30 covers that deeper diagnostic time, and it comes straight off your repair if you proceed.

When it is free, and when it is €30

  • Obvious charging issues

€30 diagnostic, credited

Complex faults that need investigation. Credited in full if you go ahead.

  • Liquid damage
  • No power
  • Intermittent faults
  • Logic board issues

How specific faults are handled

Logic board and data recovery

Assessed first, with an individual quote before any work. We do not promise a fixed outcome before diagnosis, because board-level and recovery work depends on what the assessment finds.

Charging issues

We inspect and clean the port first where that is likely to resolve it. A replacement is quoted only if cleaning does not fix the fault or the port is damaged. The price is confirmed before any work begins.

How long it takes

Diagnostic time depends on the fault. A clear fault is quick to confirm. A no-power or liquid-damage case takes as long as a careful diagnosis needs, and we keep you informed.

No surprises

We ask before extra work

If the diagnostic finds more than expected, we contact you and wait for approval. The final price is confirmed before any further work begins.

Price shown is price paid

Where a repair has a set price, that is what you pay, confirmed before work begins.

Backed by warranty

Every completed repair carries a 12-month warranty on parts and workmanship. Read the warranty.
