If you go ahead with the quoted repair, the €30 is credited in full toward the repair cost. If the device cannot be repaired, no repair charge applies beyond any agreed diagnostic or assessment fee.

The iPhone 15 is the 6.1-inch model with two rear cameras and a sliding mute switch above the volume buttons. Every model in this generation has the Dynamic Island, so the cutout does not identify yours.
A flush Action button instead of the sliding switch means you have a 15 Pro. Confirm in Settings, then General, then About.
What this model comes in for
Screens lead, and it is accident damage. Charging ports are unusually high for a phone this young, which is the USB-C effect rather than a reliability problem.
Batteries are beginning to appear as these phones reach the age where heavy users notice the afternoon slump.
USB-C, and what a partial failure looks like
Power and data run through different contacts in a USB-C port, so this model can charge perfectly while refusing to connect to a computer, or charge slowly while refusing to fast charge.
If one function works and another does not, that points at the port rather than the cable or the battery, and it is worth saying when you book. Charging with a third-party USB-C cable is completely fine and does not damage anything.
Back glass
The iPhone 15 keeps the rear-opening construction introduced on the iPhone 14, so back glass is far less expensive than on older phones. Worth a quote if you have been living with a crack.
Is it worth repairing?
Yes, clearly. This generation has a long software life ahead and holds strong resale value, so any single repair is straightforwardly better than replacing the handset.
The only case warranting a proper conversation is significant liquid damage, where no outcome can be guaranteed on any phone at any age.
Your data, and your warranty
Your data is not accessed, transferred or erased during a standard hardware repair, and the phone is not wiped in order to repair it. A passcode is not needed for most repairs. Back up beforehand as a general precaution, because hardware that is already failing can fail further during any repair.
Every completed repair is backed by a 12-month warranty on parts and workmanship. It covers faulty parts and workmanship, but does not cover new accidental damage, misuse or unrelated faults after the repair. Liquid damage repairs are excluded from that warranty due to the risk of ongoing corrosion, and this is explained before any liquid work is approved.
Water resistance does not survive the phone being opened, at any repair centre. ExpressTech reseals during reassembly, which returns splash resistance, but a repaired iPhone should be treated as no longer water resistant.
Common questions about iPhone 15 repairs
It charges but my computer will not see it. Is that the port? Usually yes. Power and data use different contacts, so one can fail alone.
Does a non-Apple USB-C cable damage the port? No. Use whatever cable you like.
How do I tell a 15 from a 15 Pro? Sliding mute switch means the standard 15. A flush Action button means the Pro.
