If you go ahead with the quoted repair, the €30 is credited in full toward the repair cost. If the device cannot be repaired, no repair charge applies beyond any agreed diagnostic or assessment fee.

Screen replacement on the iPhone 15 series, in detail
Every iPhone 15 has the Dynamic Island, so use a different check
On the iPhone 14 generation the cutout told you whether you had a Pro. On the iPhone 15 series it does not, because all four models have the Dynamic Island. Choosing by that alone is the most common way people pick the wrong card.
Use the switch above the volume buttons instead. A physical sliding mute switch means a standard 15 or 15 Plus. A flush button you press, the Action button, means a Pro. Then the rear lenses confirm it: two for the standard models, three for the Pro models.
A note for Pro owners. The titanium frame is good at absorbing a corner impact without showing much damage, which means an iPhone 15 Pro can look almost untouched while the display underneath has failed. That is consistent rather than strange, and it does not change the repair.
Picking the right card
Mute switch plus two lenses is the 15. Mute switch plus a larger body is the 15 Plus. Action button plus three lenses is the 15 Pro, and the largest of those is the 15 Pro Max.
What is included
A full display assembly, original Face ID components transferred, and testing of touch, brightness, True Tone, the earpiece, the front camera, the Action button where fitted, and Face ID before the phone is returned.

How do I choose the right iPhone series?

Do you repair older iPhones and iPhone SE models?
Yes. We repair every iPhone from the iPhone X series (X, XS, XR) through the three generations of iPhone SE up to the latest iPhone 17 lineup. Parts availability varies by model. For very old models we confirm parts availability before starting work.
How long do iPhone repairs usually take?
Most iPhone screen and battery repairs are completed in 60 minutes at our Dublin 2 store. A straightforward charging port clean is done while you wait; rear camera and back glass repairs usually take longer and are most often completed the same day. Visit our store during opening hours, no appointment needed. For Local Collection & Return customers, allow 3 to 4 working days from collection to return.
Can I visit without an appointment?
Yes. Walk in to 110 Baggot Street Lower, Dublin 2 any time during opening hours. No booking required. Most common iPhone repairs are completed while you wait.
Do you offer nationwide iPhone repair by courier?
Yes. Walk in to our Dublin 2 workshop, post your iPhone to us from anywhere in Ireland, or book Local Collection & Return in Dublin and local areas (€30 flat per shipment, round trip). Every repair is done at our Dublin 2 workshop.
Will my iPhone data be safe during the repair?
Yes. We do not access your data, photos, contacts or messages during standard hardware repairs, and your data is never accessed, transferred or erased unless you explicitly ask us to carry out a data-related service. We recommend keeping an iCloud backup as a general precaution before any repair.
Do you provide VAT invoices for business or school customers?
Yes. We issue VAT invoices for every repair and work with many Dublin and nationwide businesses, schools and universities. We can arrange bulk collection for fleet iPhone repairs. Contact us at hello@expresstech.ie for business and education rates.
What warranty comes with an iPhone repair?
Every completed repair is backed by a 12-month warranty on parts and workmanship. It covers faulty parts and workmanship, but does not cover new accidental damage, misuse or unrelated faults after the repair. Liquid damage repairs are excluded due to the risk of ongoing corrosion.
Can I choose the quality of the replacement part?
We use the right quality part for the device and repair. iPhone screens are Soft OLED — the iPhone screen standard — with one clear price per model. On iPhone batteries you choose between two battery qualities, both prices shown up front, with Genuine Apple available where supply allows.
