Apple's warranty does not cover this
Worth knowing before you go anywhere. Liquid damage is not covered by Apple's standard warranty on any iPhone, however new. If you have AppleCare+ it may be covered under its accidental damage terms, so it is worth checking what you hold before deciding where to take the phone.

Picking the right card

What cannot be guaranteed
No outcome, and no data recovery, on any wet phone at any age. If your files matter more than the handset, say so at the start.
Warranty
Liquid damage repairs are excluded from the 12-month warranty due to the risk of ongoing corrosion. Treatment may restore function, but corrosion can continue afterwards, so long-term stability cannot be guaranteed. This is explained in full before any work is approved.
