Complex faults, including liquid damage, no-power, intermittent faults and logic board issues, carry a €30 diagnostic fee. If you go ahead with the quoted repair, the €30 is credited in full toward the repair cost. If the device cannot be repaired, no repair charge applies beyond any agreed diagnostic or assessment fee.

If it still works, it is not necessarily fine
An iPhone 14 that got wet and carried on working is the case ExpressTech would most like to see early, because it is the one most often left.
The pattern is a phone that behaves perfectly for two to six weeks and then develops something that looks unrelated: a microphone nobody can hear you through, a charging port that stops responding, a camera with a haze, a battery that suddenly drains. That is corrosion arriving late.
Having it opened and cleaned while it still works is far cheaper than repairing what corrosion does later. If you would rather wait, back it up now and keep backing it up.

Warranty
Liquid damage repairs are excluded from the 12-month warranty due to the risk of ongoing corrosion. Treatment may restore function, but corrosion can continue afterwards, so long-term stability cannot be guaranteed. This is explained in full before any work is approved.
