Complex faults, including liquid damage, no-power, intermittent faults and logic board issues, carry a €30 diagnostic fee. If you go ahead with the quoted repair, the €30 is credited in full toward the repair cost. If the device cannot be repaired, no repair charge applies beyond any agreed diagnostic or assessment fee.

The last Lightning generation
The iPhone 14 series is the final iPhone generation to use Lightning, which matters practically rather than sentimentally: Lightning cables are becoming the ones left in the drawer rather than the ones replaced, and a tired cable causes exactly the symptoms a failing port does.
Before booking, try a cable you know is good and a mains adapter rather than a laptop USB port. An old, frayed Lightning cable that still works on someone else's phone is not proof it works properly on yours.
