Complex faults, including liquid damage, no-power, intermittent faults and logic board issues, carry a €30 diagnostic fee. If you go ahead with the quoted repair, the €30 is credited in full toward the repair cost. If the device cannot be repaired, no repair charge applies beyond any agreed diagnostic or assessment fee.

Charging port repair on the iPhone 12 series, in detail

MagSafe is not a repair, but it is a useful stopgap
The iPhone 12 generation introduced MagSafe, and that gives owners of this series something earlier iPhones did not have: a way to keep the phone alive while deciding what to do about a failing port.
It is genuinely useful and it is not a fix. Wireless charging is slower, it generates more heat, and it leaves you unable to transfer data over the cable. If your phone charges wirelessly but not over Lightning, the port is the fault and MagSafe is buying you time.
Picking the right card
Two rear lenses is the iPhone 12, three is the 12 Pro, and those two are the same size so the lens count is the check that matters. The mini and the Pro Max identify themselves by size.
What happens during the repair
The charging assembly is replaced rather than repaired, and on this generation that assembly carries the primary microphone alongside the connector. Both are tested before the phone comes back, along with wired charging, fast charging, data transfer and MagSafe alignment.
Warranty
