If you go ahead with the quoted repair, the €30 is credited in full toward the repair cost. If the device cannot be repaired, no repair charge applies beyond any agreed diagnostic or assessment fee.

The iPhone 11 is the 6.1-inch model with two rear cameras. If yours has three, you have a Pro or Pro Max and the parts are different.
It is also the only phone in its generation with an LCD display rather than OLED, which is why its screen is the cheapest of the three. To confirm, open Settings, then General, then About, and read Model Name.
What this model comes in for
Batteries, overwhelmingly. This phone launched in 2019, so every iPhone 11 still in use is well past the point where the cell has lost real capacity. The pattern is a phone that shows charge remaining and shuts down anyway, worst in cold weather.
Charging ports come next, after six years of Lightning insertions, and cracked screens third.
The LCD advantage
Being the LCD model in an OLED generation works in your favour. An iPhone 11 screen replacement is one of the more affordable iPhone screen repairs ExpressTech carries out, and that changes the maths on whether a cracked phone is worth fixing.
It also fails differently. LCD damage shows as black blotches, spreading ink-like patches or a white screen, rather than the coloured lines an OLED produces.
Is it worth repairing?
Yes, for a single repair. A battery on a sound iPhone 11 is one of the best-value repairs available anywhere in the estate: the phone still runs current software, the cameras are still good, and it costs a small fraction of replacing the handset.
Where ExpressTech would pause is a phone needing a screen, a battery and rear glass together, or one with extensive liquid corrosion. On a phone this age, three repairs at once usually exceeds what it is worth, and you will be told that before you commit.
Your data, and your warranty
Your data is not accessed, transferred or erased during a standard hardware repair, and the phone is not wiped in order to repair it. A passcode is not needed for most repairs. Back up beforehand as a general precaution, because hardware that is already failing can fail further during any repair.
Every completed repair is backed by a 12-month warranty on parts and workmanship. It covers faulty parts and workmanship, but does not cover new accidental damage, misuse or unrelated faults after the repair. Liquid damage repairs are excluded from that warranty due to the risk of ongoing corrosion, and this is explained before any liquid work is approved.
Water resistance does not survive the phone being opened, at any repair centre. ExpressTech reseals during reassembly, which returns splash resistance, but a repaired iPhone should be treated as no longer water resistant.

Why is my screen cheaper than my friend's iPhone 11 Pro? Because yours is LCD and theirs is OLED. It is a genuine parts cost difference, not a lesser repair.
Is an iPhone 11 still worth keeping in 2026? If it holds charge and the screen is good, yes. A battery replacement typically buys another couple of years for very little.
