If you go ahead with the quoted repair, the €30 is credited in full toward the repair cost. If the device cannot be repaired, no repair charge applies beyond any agreed diagnostic or assessment fee.

The iPhone 17 Pro has three rear cameras in a square array. Two cameras means a standard iPhone 17, one means the 17e, and a dramatically thinner body means the iPhone Air.
The 17 Pro Max is the same phone in a larger body, so if yours feels compact for a Pro it is the 17 Pro. Confirm in Settings, then General, then About.
What this model comes in for
Screens, almost exclusively, and it is accident damage. Nothing on a phone this new has had time to wear out.
Why this page lists less than an older model's
Supply for a brand new generation builds up over months rather than appearing at launch. Screens come through first because they are the repair people need soonest.

Check Apple's warranty before you pay anyone
Check what cover you already hold before paying anyone. A component that stopped working on an undamaged phone is usually Apple's responsibility under warranty, and you will be pointed there first.
Accidental damage is never covered by the standard warranty, and that is the case where an independent repair is the faster and cheaper route.
Is it worth repairing?
Yes for a screen, unambiguously. This is a current flagship with its full software life ahead of it and the highest resale value in the estate.
For anything else, ask before assuming. Being told quickly that a part has not reached independent channels yet is more useful than a booking that cannot be fulfilled.
Your data, and your warranty
Your data is not accessed, transferred or erased during a standard hardware repair, and the phone is not wiped in order to repair it. A passcode is not needed for most repairs. Back up beforehand as a general precaution, because hardware that is already failing can fail further during any repair.
Every completed repair is backed by a 12-month warranty on parts and workmanship. It covers faulty parts and workmanship, but does not cover new accidental damage, misuse or unrelated faults after the repair. Liquid damage repairs are excluded from that warranty due to the risk of ongoing corrosion, and this is explained before any liquid work is approved.
Water resistance does not survive the phone being opened, at any repair centre. ExpressTech reseals during reassembly, which returns splash resistance, but a repaired iPhone should be treated as no longer water resistant.
