Assessment is free where the fault is clear — screen, battery, back glass and obvious charging issues. Complex faults, including liquid damage, no-power, intermittent faults and logic board issues, carry a €30 diagnostic fee. If you go ahead with the quoted repair, the €30 is credited in full toward the repair cost. If the device cannot be repaired, no repair charge applies beyond any agreed diagnostic or assessment fee.

Confirming you have this exact model
The iPhone 14 Pro is the 6.1-inch model with the Dynamic Island, a pill-shaped cutout at the top of the display, and three rear cameras. A notch instead means you have a standard iPhone 14.
The 14 Pro Max is the same phone in a 6.7-inch body. Confirm in Settings, then General, then About.
What this model comes in for

One thing to check before assuming your back glass is cheap
The iPhone 14 and 14 Plus were rebuilt to open from the back, and their rear glass is inexpensive as a result. The 14 Pro was not. It keeps the older bonded construction that needs laser separation, so its back glass is priced like an iPhone 13's.
If you have read that iPhone 14 back glass is cheap and you own a Pro, that is why your quote differs. Same generation, genuinely different repair.
The Dynamic Island
It is drawn in software around the sensor cutout rather than being a separate component, so it adds no failure point and no complication to a screen replacement. A correctly fitted display shows it exactly as before.
Is it worth repairing?
Yes for a single repair. The 14 Pro remains a capable phone with software support ahead of it.
Its parts cost more than the standard 14's across the board, and its rear glass in particular is several times the price. A Pro needing a screen and rear glass together is worth quoting as a pair before deciding.
Your data, and your warranty
Your data is not accessed, transferred or erased during a standard hardware repair, and the phone is not wiped in order to repair it. A passcode is not needed for most repairs. Back up beforehand as a general precaution, because hardware that is already failing can fail further during any repair.
Every completed repair is backed by a 12-month warranty on parts and workmanship. It covers faulty parts and workmanship, but does not cover new accidental damage, misuse or unrelated faults after the repair. Liquid damage repairs are excluded from that warranty due to the risk of ongoing corrosion, and this is explained before any liquid work is approved.
Water resistance does not survive the phone being opened, at any repair centre. ExpressTech reseals during reassembly, which returns splash resistance, but a repaired iPhone should be treated as no longer water resistant.

Why is my back glass dearer than a standard iPhone 14's? The Pro keeps bonded rear glass needing laser separation; the standard 14 opens from the back.
Does the Dynamic Island survive a screen replacement? Yes. It is software drawn around the cutout.
Only one camera has failed. Do I need all three? No. Only the failed module is replaced.
