The exact price is confirmed before any work begins. Complex faults, including liquid damage, no-power, intermittent faults and logic board issues, carry a €30 diagnostic fee. If you go ahead with the quoted repair, the €30 is credited in full toward the repair cost. If the device cannot be repaired, no repair charge applies beyond any agreed diagnostic or assessment fee.

Can I keep using it? Yes — you can keep working with an external keyboard or mouse in the meantime. If keys or the trackpad behave erratically during important work, save often.
What a successful repair restores A successful repair restores the repaired input; typing or cursor response and the surrounding functions affected by the repair are tested before return.
Why does this happen? Often debris or a small spill under the keys rather than an electronic fault.
From our technicians A trackpad that stops clicking properly can be a swelling battery pressing on it from underneath. If your trackpad changed suddenly, mention it when you contact us — we’ll check the battery first.

How long does a Mac repair take?
Most MacBook battery and keyboard repairs are completed same day at our Dublin 2 store. Screen replacements may require additional time depending on parts availability. For Local Collection & Return customers, allow 3 to 4 working days.
Is my data safe during a Mac repair?
Yes. We do not access your data during standard hardware repairs, and it is never accessed, transferred or erased unless you explicitly ask us to carry out a data-related service. We recommend keeping a Time Machine backup as a general precaution before any hardware work.
What warranty do you provide on Mac repairs?
Every Mac repair comes with a 12-month warranty on parts and workmanship. If a fault related to the repair appears within that period, we fix it at no charge.
Can I visit without an appointment?
Yes. Walk in to 110 Baggot Street Lower, Dublin 2 any time during opening hours. No booking required. Most Mac repairs are completed the same day, subject to part availability.
Do you repair Macs nationwide?
Yes. Walk in to our Dublin 2 workshop, post your Mac to us from anywhere in Ireland, or book Local Collection & Return in Dublin and local areas (€30 flat per shipment, round trip). Every repair is done at our Dublin 2 workshop.
