We inspect and clean the port first where appropriate, and only quote a replacement if cleaning doesn’t resolve it or the port is damaged — the cleaning cost is credited toward the replacement if one is then needed.

What happens if I wait?
A worn or debris-blocked port usually becomes less reliable with every connection — intermittent charging tends to become no charging. We inspect and clean first where appropriate, which often resolves it while the port is still serviceable.
If the fault turns out to be something else, we stop and tell you first — a €30 diagnostic is credited in full toward any repair.
