How walk-in repairs work

  1. We check the device

    A trained technician inspects the device at the counter and confirms the fault. We talk through the repair options in plain language.

  2. We confirm options and price

    You see the repair options and price before any work begins. Nothing goes ahead until you approve it.

  3. We repair, test and hand back

    Repairs are completed in our Dublin 2 workshop using premium parts. We test the key functions, then hand the device back with a 12-month warranty on most repairs.

Common questions about visiting our store

  • Do I need an appointment?

    No booking needed for walk-in repairs. Walk in any time during opening hours and we will check your device at the counter. We confirm the repair option and price before any work begins.

  • Can I pay in store?

    Yes. Walk in, leave the device with us, and pay in store when the repair is complete. We accept the usual payment methods at the counter, and we issue a VAT invoice for every repair.

  • Can I prepay before visiting?

    Yes. Many ExpressTech repairs can be prepaid online before you visit. Choose the device and repair you need, prepay, then walk in any time. The repair is already approved when you arrive, which can shorten the time at the counter.

  • Where is ExpressTech located?

    110 Baggot Street Lower, Grand Canal Dock, Dublin 2, D02 TY44. We are a short walk from Pearse Street DART station, with several Dublin Bus routes stopping nearby.

  • What should I bring with me?

    Bring the device you want repaired and your screen-lock code or password. Most laptop repairs go faster if you bring the charger. For tablets and watches, the charging cable helps for testing.

  • What if I cannot visit the store?

    Use Collection & Return. We collect your device by tracked courier across Ireland, repair it at our Dublin 2 workshop and return it to you. Booking is online.
