Common questions about starting a repair

Do I need to book before visiting?
No booking needed for walk-in repairs. Visit our Dublin 2 store during opening hours and we'll check the device at the counter and confirm the repair before any work begins.
Should I choose by device or by issue?
Either works. If you know what's wrong, choose the issue (Screen, Battery, Charging Port and so on) and we'll route you to the right device. If you're more confident about the device than the fault, start with the device family. The destination is the same.
Can I send my device from outside Dublin?
Yes. Book the courier repair online first. After your order is placed, we organise courier collection and return across Ireland. Your device is repaired at our Dublin 2 workshop and returned to you. Both walk-in and courier repairs carry a 12-month warranty on parts and workmanship.
Will my data be safe during the repair?
Yes. All ExpressTech repairs are hardware-only. Your data is never accessed, transferred or erased during the repair process. We recommend keeping a backup as a general precaution before any device repair.
Do you repair devices for schools and businesses?
Yes. Walk-in, courier and approved staff walk-in all work for business and school accounts. We provide VAT invoices on every repair, accept purchase orders, and offer named-account contact for fleet repairs. What if I'm not sure what's wrong?
Walk in or use collection and return and we'll diagnose the device first. We confirm the cause and the price before any work begins. Diagnosis is part of the repair when you proceed; if you choose not to repair, we'll explain why and what we found.
